Stochastic Nonlinear Model Predictive Control for a Switched Photovoltaic Battery System

Battery systems gain popularity among users in residential household setups. In this setup, currently the main source of profitability is to increase photovoltaic (PV) self-sufficiency which highly dependent on battery system efficiency. We present a control approach based stochastic dynamic programming (SDP) suitable The optimization framework includes switched with standby losses, nonlinear modeling converter losses as well forecast model for load and PV generation. show simulation typical benchmark case that our can fact reduce overall costs operation. Then, applicability real-world scenario shown using commercially available field test.
